A native of Kentucky, Kirk M. Rich is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Winner of the 2007 American Guild of Organists/Quimby Competition for Young Organists (Region V), Kirk has performed in the United States, France, and England, including a performance at the 2008 National Convention of the American Guild of Organists in Minneapolis, Minnesota. His teachers include Douglas Reed, James David Christie, Timothy Olsen, Webb Wiggins (harpsichord), Elisabeth Wright (harpsichord), and Barbara Lister-Sink (piano). Kirk is certified in the Lister-Sink Method of Well-Coordinated, Injury-Preventive Keyboard Technique. Currently, he is a Master of Music candidate at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music where he studies organ with Christopher Young.
