The Festival Choir is a seasonal, large choral ensemble available to all FCC adult members and non-members. We also invite the participation of young singers between the ages of 14-18, after consultation with the Director of Music. The Festival Choir sings for Christmas Eve (8:00pm service only) and Holy Week (which may include any of the following: Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday). Rehearsals are always scheduled near the presentation date (see rehearsal schedule below). Attendance at all rehearsals is strongly encouraged for those wishing to sing with the Festival Choir in worship. Although participation in the Sanctuary Choir is not a prerequisite for participation in the Festival Choir, it is strongly encouraged. This choir is under the direction of R. Ryan Endris, Director of Music.
Joining this ensemble is quite easy; no audition is required! The conductor may, however, ask to hear sing simply to determine which voice placement is most appropriate for you.
