The Sanctuary Choir, conducted by Dr. Jan Harrington, is a non-auditioned vocal ensemble available to all FCC adult members and non-members. While this is primarily a choir for adults, enthusiastic singers under the age of 18 may be accepted into the choir, after consultation with the Director of Music.
Joining the Sanctuary Choir is EASY! Simply send Jan a message via our contact page, and he’ll arrange a time to talk with you about joining the choir.
There is no formal audition to be in this ensemble, but choir members may be asked to vocalize for the Director of Music to determine appropriate placement in the ensemble. Previous singing experience, vocal ability, and previous part assignments will all be taken into consideration. Regular attendance at Thursday and Sunday rehearsals is necessary for those planning to sing with the choir in worship.
The Sanctuary Choir rehearses from 6:15pm-7:45pm on Thursdays and 9:15am-9:45am on Sunday mornings. The Sanctuary Choir sings at the 10:00am worship service on Sundays.
