Exploring faith and scripture with a paintbrush as your tool is a spiritual practice many have found contributes to spiritual growth. Our art ministry provides an opportunity for prayer, contemplation and independent art creation, as well as guided instruction.
Caregivers Create provides caregivers a bit of respite time to take a creative adventure. Each class is led by a professional artist or experienced crafter, many of whom are also caregivers. Reservations for this class are required, but it is offered free of charge. All materials and light refreshments are supplied.
Made to Create
Made to Create is an 8 week program that provides an opportunity to reflect on our relationship to God as Creator while also providing professional watercolor art instruction. Participants in Pray, Paint and Play use art as a means of spiritual expression in a quiet setting with support, as needed.
Women’s Arts and Crafts
Women’s Arts and Crafts gives women the opportunity to come together, create a unique, hand-crafted item, and enjoy a supportive and welcoming fellowship.
Art Together brings together artists from FCC and the wider community to create individual as well as communal pieces of art.
Classes are developed and added often. We are always looking for new ways of exploring spiritual growth through art. No experience is necessary, and all are invited to join our Art and Spirituality opportunities. Sign up for our newsletter, The Christian Visitor, to get the latest information on new classes.
