Join FCC families and friends from Beth Shalom, First Presbyterian, Trinity Episcopal and Unitarian Universalist for a variety of intergenerational MLK Day activities:
  • Write a caring card, then pack a blessing bag of hygiene products. Your family can take this bag away with you to share next time you see someone in need.
  • Read stories about Martin Luther King, Jr., and justice issues.
  • Help bake muffins or put together cheese sandwiches for Wheeler Mission. Be a GREAT neighbor by bringing some of the necessary supplies. Click here to see what’s needed and sign up.
  • Join in a community sticky note conversation about MLK and social justice.
The Good Neighbor Community service project will be the final activity for the FCC youth group’s MLK Day lock-in, so you are guaranteed to see friendly faces from church. Drop in for 20 minutes, or stay the morning
